Jean Johannigman (nee Weiner), age 77, beloved wife of Fred James Newbill. Loving mother of Marianne E. Brokamp, Jay A. Johannigman (Cindy), Jeffrey D. Johannigman (Stephanie), and Beth Johannigman-Gallenstein (Chris). Grandmother of Caron and Michael Brokamp; Taylor Anne and Evan Johannigman; and Alexander, Peter, and Victoria Johannigman. Survived by her sister Kay W. Novello (Anthony). In 1977, Jean Johannigman founded Country Hills Montessori in Meadowbrook Care Center. Her second school was in Eastgate Health Care Center, then she founded schools in Dayspring Health Care and Hillspring Health Care Center. She was also active in many ministries and organizations at St. Vincent Ferrer. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 PM on Sunday, November 18, at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 7754 Montgomery Road.
