James M. HuffFebruary 25, 1928 - September 28, 2019James "Jim" McArtor Huff, 91, passed away Saturday Sept 28, 2019. Jim was born February 25, 1928 to Foster and Maxine (nee Silence) in Wayne County, IN, one of five children.Jim served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1949 and served as a First Lieutenant in the US Air Force Reserves from 1950 to 1958. He met his lovely bride and wife of 64 years, Karen Barnaby, while attending Indiana University. Jim and Karen moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1956 where Jim enjoyed selling industrial packaging throughout the region for 50 plus years.Jim is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Robin (Joe) Servizzi and Heidi (Scott) Naylor; son Christopher; grandchildren Ryan (Kelsey), Annie (Chris), Julia, Matthew, and Samantha; great grandchildren Gavin and Luka: sisters; Patricia Beebe and Susan (Nick) Block; Sister in-laws Sharon Huff and Nancy Irvine; and several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Max and Ronald.An informal memorial gathering to celebrate Jim's life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Gilligan Funeral Homes - Kenwood, located at 8225 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. The family would welcome any fond memory that you would like to share.
