James Donald Howe, long time resident of Indian Hill, beloved husband of Katharine K. Howe, father of Katharine Howe Hardardt (Kevin), Susan Elizabeth Howe (Patrick Ratkowski), Barbara Howe Murray (Dr. Brion), Mary Howe Weeks (Stephen). Grandfather of James, Elizabeth and Grace Hardardt, William and Molly Weeks, Alexandra Ratkowski-Howe, and William Murray. Three sisters: Mrs. Francis B. Burch of Baltimore, Maryland, Janet E. Howe of Princeton, New Jersey and Claire Knoebel of Southampton, New York. Two brothers: Edwin S. Howe of Ocean View, Delaware and John N. Howe of Lutherville, Maryland. Born January 14, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland, attended Loyola College. Was a 1st Lt. in the Marine Corps 1951-1954. He worked for TV stations and TV representative agencies in Baltimore, Chicago, New Bedford, Massachusetts and New York City before coming to Cincinnati in 1971, first to Channel 9 and then to Channel 5. After a long illness, service and burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 20th at Indian Hill Church. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
