James Edward Gunning, Jr., beloved husband of Elizabeth "Libby" Gunning (nee Sauter) and the late Patricia Murphy Gunning, devoted father of Judy (Tom) Morand, Linda (Steve) Brill, Pat (Francie) Gunning and Sue (Ken) Wurtzler, step-father of Barb (David) Hutzel, Carol (Greg) Steel, John (Mary) and Michael Getner, loving grandfather of Patricia (Tom) Clemandot, Lindsay, Frank and Ross Morand, Robby and Gordy Brill, Patrick and George Gunning, Jack and Bobby Wurtzler, step-grandfather of David and Daniel Hutzel and Megan Steel, dear great-grandfather of Isabella, Tommy and Charlie Clemandot. Departed Friday, January 13, 2012 at the age of 80. Jim was a graduate of St. Xavier High School class of 1949.
