Jack Niederhelman

Jack Niederhelman, 101, passed away on April 23, 2026, at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash Inpatient Care Center after a brief illness.

Jack was born on December 11, 1924 in Norwood, Ohio, to the late Walter and Henrietta (Laschat) Niederhelman.

Jack attended Norwood High School and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on January 14, 1943, shortly after his 18th birthday. He served proudly as a Sergeant and was stationed in Guam during World War II. After his discharge, Jack returned to Norwood, Ohio where he married Shirley Kreimer. The majority of Jack's career was spent as a salesman for General Electric. He retired in December 1985. Shortly thereafter, he and Shirley retired to Venice, Florida where they were very active at The Plantation Golf Club until Shirley's death on June 5, 1996.

Jack is survived by sons John (Pamela Whitehorne) Niederhelman and Jerry (Kathy) Niederhelman. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Molly Niederhelman and Sam (Alaina) Niederhelman and his very precious great granddaughter Natalie Niederhelman. Jack is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Henrietta Niederhelman, his loving wife Shirley Niederhelman, sister Ruth Drahmann, and brothers Larry, Robert, and Walter Niederhelman.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at 1:00 pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel followed by military rites.
