Proceeded in death by parents: Bertha Mae (nee Woosley) & Abraham Lincoln Kennedy and siblings: James. Edward, & Geneva.

Leaves behind loving wife of 62 years Geraldine J. Kennedy (nee Taylor), son Gerald "David" Kennedy (Sharon), daughter Kathy Kennedy-Brunner (Mike) & his pride and joy: grandson Nathan & granddaughter Rory. Also survived by siblings Gracie, Thomas and dear friend Leo Dean.

Proud patriot and Disabled American Veteran that served in the U.S. Army, Fort Knox, KY. 57-year employee (never missed a day of work!) and honored recipient of the Chairman of the Board ring from the Kroger Co. He was a Kentucky Colonel, West Virginia mountain boy at heart and longtime Madeira resident. Herman was a friend to everyone he met.
