Helen Hendricks Rotte passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2015 at the remarkable age of 102 with full mental capacity unto the last days. Helen was born on May 23, 1912 to Roy and Josephine Hendricks. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward F. Rotte, sisters Martha Hendricks, Mary Stenger, and Ruth Schoenberger, brother William Hendricks, and grandson Tyler Rotte. Helen was proud of her three children: Bruce Rotte (Bellevue, KY and Naples, FL), Joanna Rott (Philadelphia, PA) and Gloria Worth (Indianapolis, IN). She was known as "Tutu" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Tyler and Kristin Rotte, Masashi Rott, Benjamin and Matthew Worth, Alyssa Rotte, Maya, Priyanka, and Kavya Chandrashekaran, and Callie Marie Worth. Helen appreciated sports. Though she didn't begin the game of golf until the age of 62, she played well and into her 90s. With her husband Ed, she enjoyed traveling the United States and stopping along the way for a round of golf. The couple especially relished winters in Florida. Helen was also active in bridge groups, aiming to win without forgetting it's a game. Helen Rotte was a friend to many. She had a smile that would light up a room. All who knew her shall miss her. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life will take place on July 3, 2015, at 10:00AM, at St. Vincent Ferrer Church.
