Helen G. Giovis

Helen G. Giovis, 98, passed away on October 17, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born July 26, 1928, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of George and Fanny Putcho. She graduated from George Washington High School. She worked at L.S. Ayres in alterations and bookkeeping. She always had a keen, sharp and inquisitive mind, and enjoyed reading Encyclopedias and National Geographic magazines that included subjects such as history and science. She was a strong, kind and caring person. Helen, and her husband, John, moved to Cincinnati and started their restaurant business. Helen is survived by her loving daughters Marianne Giovis and Stephanie Beaudoin, and grandchildren Alisha Beaudoin, and Ashley (Alec) Knowles. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Giovis, sister Mary Lowden, and brother Charles Putcho.

Visitation will be held, Friday, October 23, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 AM, at Holy Trinity-Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Rd, Cincinnati, OH, 45224.
