Helen (Bartush) Bachman went to be with her daughter Patsy Lee , Dr. Bill , her parents Leonella and Max Bartush , her brother Charles and sister Florence on October 30th, 2018 she is survived by her children Melody (Jim) Osborne, Robbin (Paul) Quallen, Richard (Jenny) Bachman, Randy (Sherry) Bachman, grandmother of Chuck, Tricia, Lance, Amanda, Ryan, Alexander, & Brianne. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Austin, Zachary, Quenten, & baby Leanella. And her brother Ronald Bartush and surviving sisters Eileen, Maxine, Rita, Betty Iris, Francis & Marie. She was born in Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada of American citizens, she came to the United States and served in the US Navy as a Wave during WWII. She worked as a library assistant at the Madeira Branch Library for 30 years. She did volunteer work at the old Mercy hospital before she went and volunteered at Bethesda North Hospital for over 20 years. She belonged to the Blue Ash YMCA, several card groups, and a group of Navy Waves. She was a member of Saint Gertrude's church in Madeira for (65) years. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, November 2 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM Saturday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Madeira. Memorials may be made to VITAS Hospice or the Disabled American Veterans.
