Dr. Harry Horwitz, a native of London, England, a well-known Radiation Oncologist, died peacefully on August 26th. Before coming to Cincinnati in 1960, in order to set up a training program at the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Horwitz was a Professor of Medicine at Cambridge University, in England. He was married to the love of his life, Jeanna, and together they raised two daughters, Ruth Sara Schneider (Norm) and the late Caroline McKay. He is survived by his sister, Irene, of London, and her family, and four grand-children, Robert R. Hart III, Lindsay S. Hart, Margaret (Maggie) J. McKay and Ian T. McKay, also many friends. Dr. Horwitz has been cremated and there will be a Celebration of his Life, date to be announced later.
