Harold Albert Kautz Jr, age 89, of Byrdstown, TN, passed away Tuesday February 26, 2019 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Survivors include his widow, Georgia (Martin) Kautz of Byrdstown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Pam Kautz of Knoxville; and Timothy and Kathy Kautz of Byrdstown; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Linda and Chuck Osborne of Cincinnati, Ohio; Pamela and Dave Bullock of Byrdstown; Karen and Hans Schreyer of Williamstown, Kentucky; Beverly Hammock of Byrdstown; and Rebecca and John Thrasher of Pall Mall, Tennessee. Other survivors include 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, plus nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his Parents; Harold Albert Kautz Sr. and Elisabeth Kautz; wife of first marriage, Betty Sue Kautz, and his brother, Larry Kautz. Harold was born July 25, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Harold Albert Kautz Sr and Elisabeth Rose (Buhr) Kautz. He was a member of the Emmanuel Catholic Church in Albany KY, a Boy Scout Troop Leader for many years, and an honorable veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a retired employee with Cincinnati Bell Telephone Co. THURSDAY & FRIDAY: The family will receive friends in Tennessee on Thursday, February 28 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Chapel, 504 West Main Street, Byrdstown, TN 38549. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 1 at 10:30 A.M. at the Emmanuel Catholic Church, Highway 127 North, Albany KY 42602. SATURDAY: Cincinnati services include a visitation to be held on Saturday, March 2 from 9:30 A.M. until Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. at The Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Mongtomery at Galbraith. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
