Harold J. Bauman, beloved husband of the late Geraldine R. (Roebel) Bauman for 59 years. Devoted father of Nancy (Wally) Saving, the late Linda (Roger) Dettmer, and Dr. David (Elaine) Bauman. Loving grandfather of Karen (Tracy) Kellums, Kevin (Sarah) Stratton, David (Kim) Dettmer, Michael (Allie) Dettmer, Lori (Matt) Hodge, Dr. Douglas (Samantha) Bauman & Jennifer (Steve) Gatton. Great grandfather of 18, and great great grandfather of 1. Preceded in death by his son-in-law Joseph Stratton, his parents, Harry and Elsie Bauman, his brother, Floyd Bauman, and his sister, Marjorie McFarland. Special friend of Natalie Ibold. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the age of 100 years. Harold worked for Sawbrook Steel Casting Company for 42 years. "Mayor" of 20 Mile Way for 12 Years. Visitation, Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Montgomery, OH 45249 on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 9am-10am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
