Gregory Ladenburger, 72, died June 28, 2021 in Cincinnati, OH

Greg was born March 31, 1949 in Dayton, KY to Charles Ladenburger and Norma Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Marianne; daughter, Jennifer (Matt); son, Christopher (Maria); and 5 grandchildren.

Greg was an All-State guard on Newport Catholic's football team and played for Xavier University, whose football team remains undefeated since 1973. He was an avid golfer and loved nothing more than hitting the links with his close and devoted friends and exploring famous golf courses on his travels. Greg loved listening to good music, eating good food, and rooting on his favorite sports teams. Greg was a friendly and fun-loving guy and could strike up a conversation with anyone (even his brother-in-law Clark), always remembering even the smallest details and making people feel welcome and cared for.

Greg loved being surrounded by family -- especially his grandchildren -- and his lifelong friends, and will be dearly missed by all.

A funeral service is being held at Gilligan Funeral Home at 8225 Montgomery Road on Tuesday, July 6th at 9:30 a.m., burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in his honor at https://www.parkinson.org/
