Obituary

George G. "Skip" Yarnell III, age 66, passed to eternal life on May 2, 2014. Skip is survived by his loving wife Paula Bien Yarnell, his two beloved sons; Tyler Richard Yarnell and Tate Grier (Lauren) Yarnell, adored nephew Roland E. Nieman III (Trey), brother Jerome (Donna) Yarnell, sisters Sue O'Bannon and Nancy Polder. Skip is also survived by 4 cherished grandchildren, Hadley, TJ, Lilly and Tucker Yarnell, many nieces, nephews and close friends. He received his MBA from Xavier University and served in the United States Air Force. He worked at Cincinnati Milacron for over 40 years and retired as a Vice President. Skip was an avid supporter of The Summit Country Day School. He was a volunteer coach and mentor to many young men and to this day retained their respect and friendships. Presently he was the manager of Kingston House. One of his life's greatest accomplishments was helping his son Tate to establish T & T Landscaping. Visitation Friday, May 9th from 5 -8pm at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 2926 Woodburn Ave. A Celebration Mass at The Summit Country Day Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel Saturday, May 10th at 10am. In honor of Skip, Memorials may be sent to: The George G. Yarnell Memorial Fund c/o The Summit Country Day School, 2161 Grandin Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45208.
