George Ferguson

George Ferguson, 66, passed away on April 9, 2026, at Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was born on May 29, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio to the late James D. Ferguson and Margaret A. (Power) Ferguson.

He worked in many restaurants and country clubs throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky as a cook, sous chef, and chef.

George loved to fish and had a multitude of pets throughout his life. He liked to spend time with his family and was proud of his 2 sons.

He is survived by his 2 sons John Ferguson and Mark Ferguson as well as his siblings Joseph Ferguson, Margaret Ferguson, Brigid Ferguson, Therese (Dave) Hertlein, and James (Jane) Ferguson in addition to his 12 nieces and nephews and their respective spouses and numerous great nieces and nephews.

George is preceded in death by his parents James and Margie Ferguson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, April 20, 2026, at 9:30 AM at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, 6543 Miami Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45243. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 234 Center St, Miamiville, OH 45147.
