Gary Lee Langefeld, age 73, permanent resident of Cincinnati, passed away of natural causes on July 18, 2013. He was born May 22, 1940 in Norwood to August Langefeld and Olga "Sally" Langefeld, nee Sueberling. He was a 1958 graduate of Anderson High School and graduated from the Central Academy of Commercial Art. He worked as a commercial artist and entrepreneur. Gary had a lifelong love of aviation, and later in life focused his artistic talents on restoring planes. His artistic endeavors included playing the piano, composing music, photography, painting, writing and cooking. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his children, Michelle Lee Langefeld, Erika Jane Collier and Laura Michelle Collier. Friends and family are invited to a reception at Gilligan Funeral Home on Woodburn Avenue on Wednesday, July 24 from 5-7 with a celebration of Gary's life at 7.
