IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gale V.
Mullins
September 29, 1947 – April 2, 2025
Gale V. Mullins, a woman whose life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family and friends, passed away peacefully in her home in Cincinnati, Ohio, at the age of 77 on April 2, 2025. Born on September 29, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, Gale was the beloved wife of David Mullins, a devoted mother to Mikala Hedlind and Heather Mullins, and a proud grandmother to Anja and Lukas Hedlind.
A graduate of Bennett High School in Buffalo, Gale pursued her passion for helping others by earning a degree in Dental Hygiene. Life took her across the country, from New York to Ohio, California, and Cape Cod, where she worked as a dedicated dental hygienist and in retail.
Gale was a vibrant free spirit with a boundless creative soul. She was an award-winning baker, competitive swimmer, dedicated elementary school volunteer, and passionate dancer who embraced life with enthusiasm. Her love for fashion and decorating was evident in her impeccable sense of style, which she infused into every aspect of her home.
She found her greatest joy in summer days spent on the beach or the water, whether at Cape Cod, Lake Winnipesaukee, or Huntington Beach. She loved water skiing, boating, swimming, collecting seashells, and basking in the warmth of the sun.
Gale saw beauty in everything and everyone. She lived by the words, "To thine own self be true" and "March to the beat of your own drum," a philosophy that defined her adventurous and independent spirit.
