George Rodger Crowe, of Kenwood, 74, died on April 21, 2017. He was born January 17, 1943 in Erie, PA, eldest child of the late Richard Joseph Crowe and Thelma Jean Rodgers Crowe. He is survived by two children: Christine (Brendon) Hansford and David Crowe (Shelly Klunk). His grandchildren are: Mark, Beth and Doug Hansford. He is also survived by four siblings: Kathleen Anderson (Sebastian, FL), Martin Crowe (Linda Paquette, Kingston, MA), Jeanne (Raymond) Bleil (Erie, PA) and Karen McArthur (Erie, PA); as well as by his dear friend and former spouse: Judith Weed Lindner and her husband, Lloyd Lindner. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 23 from 5-7pm at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road. A celebration service will be held at Horizon Community Church, 3950 Newtown Road, Cincinnati, OH 45244 on Monday, April 24 at 10am. Cremated remains will be scattered at a later date in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Evendale, OH and interred at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery in Erie, PA. Rodger requested no memorial contributions, but that anyone should rededicate any thoughts and efforts to those individuals in greatest need.
