Obituary

CAVELLIER . Frederick E. Ted , beloved husband of Mary Catherine, who he loved very much for the 57 years of their marriage, died on October 28 at the age of 78. Beloved father of Tom, Eileen (Jack) Dawson, Ken (Peggy), Bob (Anne), Steve (Sharyl) and Peggy for whom he would do anything and to whom he dedicated his life. Beloved grandfather to 14 grandchildren. Beloved brother to Dan Cavellier. Ted was a veteran of WWII enlisting at the age of 17 and serving with the 24th Corps, HQS Artillery. He served in the Pacific theater and was involved in numerous campaigns including the battles of Saipan and Okinawa. He returned to the states and married Mary Catherine in 1947. He moved to Cincinnati in 1970 and was involved in the athletic programs of All Saints and Moeller High School serving as the president of the athletic boosters for both. Ted was a district manager for General Mills but resigned in 1975 in order to avoid transferring from Cincinnati. He founded Sureway Fund Clubs in 1975 and owned and operated the company until he retired in 1997. Visitation will be held from 1-3 P.M. on Monday, November 1 at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road. Mass of Christian Burial is at 3 P.M. Sunrise, sunset-swiftly flow the days...Sunrise, sunset-swiftly fly the years. He will be missed. Contributions may be made to the All Saints Development and Improvement Fund.
