Fr. John "Jack" Beckman, S.J., 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11 in Cincinnati. He was the loving brother of Fr. Robert Beckman, S.J. of Clarkston, MI, the late Vincent and Paul Beckman, and Irene Leverone. Fr. Beckman is survived by 13 devoted nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by his family, dear friends, members of the Faber Jesuit Community and the Hittner family. Visitation 6 to 8 PM Monday, March 14 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 2926 Woodburn at Lincoln. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Bellarmine Chapel of Xavier University.
