Florence Carolyn Robbins (nee Beischel), of Amberly Village, passed away peacefully on October 28 at Gahanna Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Gahanna, Ohio. Born in Cincinnati on November 11, 1920, Mrs. Robbins was the daughter of Arthur and Amanda (Peters) Beischel. She lived in Walnut Hills as a child and attended St. Francis de Sales elementary school and Saint Ursula Academy. She wed August C. "Gus" Robbins in 1942. They lived in Deer Park until they moved to Amberley Village in 1956. They were long-time employees of United Dairy Farmers, beginning in the early years of the company's growth. Her dear husband, Gus, retired vice president of United Dairy Farmers, passed away in 1997. Mrs. Robbins is also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Alice Tarvin. She is survived by three nieces and two nephews and their children: Nancy Turley of Dallas, Texas; Kathleen Wagner of Westerville, Ohio; Jeffrey Tarvin of Brookfield, Connecticut; Jack Tarvin of Melbourne, Kentucky and Sally Vater of Cold Spring, Kentucky. Visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Church, 7121 Plainfield Rd., Deer Park, at 9 am on Saturday, November 6. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ohio.
