Evelyn Mae Broerman (nee Lang), age 88, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021. Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph, and cherished children son Eric, and daughter Marcy (late Kenny), parents Irvin and Nora Lang, brother Phillip (Margaret) Lang, Claire (late Andrew) Budai. Evelyn is survived by her sister, Virginia Hunter and children Pamela (late Jerry) Shelton, Cindy (Steve) Combs, Christopher (Wanda) Broerman, Karen (late Mitchel) Bahl, and Diane Gonyea. Dear Grandmother of Shawn (Michelle) Cox, Mandy Wilson, Jennifer (Chris) Gervais, Kelly (Josh) Vose, Kevin (Alexcis) Gonyea, Joshua (Hollie) Combs, Nick (Tiffany) Broerman, Jeremy Combs, Kenneth Nicely, Sarah (Eric) McQuade, Kimberly (Kevin) Langdon, Jeff Gonyea, Morgan Bahl, Kurt Gonyea, Jacob Bahl, and Lauren Bahl and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Evelyn graduated from her beloved Reginia High School and was a devoted parishioner of St. Saviour Church in Rossmoyne where she was involved in many parish activities. She worked as a Librarian for 28 years for Howard Elementary School in Deer Park. Evelyn was a very caring individual and often donated her time and talents to worthy causes. She was a devout Roman Catholic and is now home with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Saviour on Thursday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately following mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
