Eugene "Gene" Andrew Pierce passed away peacefully June 27th at the age of 94. Preceded in death by wife JoAnn (Delape) Pierce in 2018, and daughter Lisa Pierce in 2014. He leaves behind children: Teresa Pierce, Dan (Sandee) Pierce, Pati Pierce, and grandchildren: Brandon Vester, Zachary Lay, Chelsea Lay (Adam Neth), and Austen (Jake) Davis.

Gene was a member of the Naval Reserve and worked for over 30 years as a tool and dye engineer at Schulte Brass Corporation. After retirement, he enjoyed golf, gardening, reading, and extensive travel with JoAnn. He had the amazing ability to design/build/fix anything and blessed our family with numerous handmade gifts that we will cherish for years. His sense of humor and dependable advice will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held at Mason Christian Village Stone Center on Wednesday July 2 at 11 am followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
