Eugene J. Cox, beloved husband to Kathleen "Sis" Cunningham, devoted father of Jerry (Sandy) Cox, Sally Maj, Barbara (Mark) Meyers, Marilyn (Bob) Cohen, Patrick (Terri) Cox, Michael (Jennifer) Cox, Dana Merz and the late Sharon Cox VanDyke. Loving pappy to 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Eileen Krug and James Cox, survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Departed Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at age 81. Visitation Sunday, August 29 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 2926 Woodburn at Lincoln from 4 to 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM Monday at Holy Cross-Immaculata Church, 30 Guido St., Mt. Adams. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 5211 Madison Road, Cincinnati OH 45227, Holy Cross-Immaculata Church, 30 Guido Street, Cincinnati OH 45202 or Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, 5440 Moeller Avenue, Norwood OH 45212.
