Eugene C. Barbero (Colonel USA Retired) passed away March 1st at theage of 94. Preceded in death by his wife Mary D. Barbero. Survivedby his children Kathleen Hogan (Donald), Jerry Barbero (Joni) and Mike Barbero (Linda). Grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of nine.Gene was a first generation American who was born in New York City. He was a proud World War II veteran who served 30 years in the UnitedStates Army, retiring in 1971. Private funeral services were held.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to The Fisher House Foundation.
