Ellen Virginia Ackner, beloved sister of the late Col. Ned E. (LaVera) Ackner, loving aunt of David (Nancy) Ackner and James (Jean) Ackner, dear great-aunt of Stephanie (Jimmy HoShue) Ackner, Kris and Evan Ackner, great-great-aunt of Marissa and Lilly HoShue, departed Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the age of 94. Miss Ackner was a teacher in the Cincinnati school system for over 30 years. She taught at different schools in the Cheviot and Western Hills area.
