Elizabeth E. "Betty" Singler, (nee, Noppenberger), 81, from Madeira, Ohio, passed away on December 13, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond A. Singler, her parents, Joseph G. and Lucille A. Noppenberger, her sister, Sr. Jean Angela Noppenberger, S.C., and many sisters in law and brothers in law. She is survived by her children Ellen(Tracy) Buckley, Raymond (Tawnya), Gregory (Beth), Sheila, Julie (Steve Worst), Andrew (Teresa) Singler, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and truly missed by her dogs Rhett and Scarlett. Also survived by her sister, Sr. Joseph Ellen Noppenberger, S.C., her brother, John A. "Jack" (Kathy) Noppenberger, her sister in law Bernadette Brunsman, numerous nieces, and nephews, and close friends. She was a caretaker and a nurse by profession and was a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Hospital. A devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Gertrude Parish. Funeral Services are as follows, Visitation to be Friday, December 18, 6-8:00 PM at Gilligan's Funeral Home 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 9:00 AM, at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Gertrude Parish, Good Samaritan College of Nursing, Little Sisters of the Poor or Hospice of Cincinnati.
