Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Aerni (nee Hagerty), devoted wife of Roger Aerni for 67 years, peacefully passed away on May 7, 2015 at the age of 90 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her four children, Daniel (Kathy) Aerni, Richard (Carolyn Stutz) Aerni, Patricia (Peter) Fletcher and John (Donna Washburn) Aerni. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Sarah Aerni, John Aerni-Flessner, Katie Wolpert, Ryan Fletcher, Greg Aerni, Emily Kaestner, Charley Aerni, Alex Aerni, and Jason Aerni. Seven great-grandchildren have blessed her final years of life. Betty was a lifelong Cincinnatian, born in Norwood in 1924 and graduated from Norwood High School in 1942. She was an active member of All Saints Parish. She treasured her family above all. From her earliest years, she was a vibrant connecting force who built and sustained friendships, family ties and community organizations. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Rd. Burial service immediately afterwards will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 11000 Montgomery Rd. Reception will follow at De Sha's Restaurant, 11320 Montgomery Rd 45249.
