Edward Andrew Carson, 49, passed away peacefully July 27 at home in the company of his family. Loving son of Reba Thomas Carson and the late Raymond D. Carson. Dear brother of James W. Carson. Ed graduated from Seven Hills School and Virginia Polytechnic Institute, where he was active in Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was an AFLAC agent, and operated Ed and Jim cards, a sports memorabilia business, for many years. A Director of the Rotary Club of Cincinnati, Ed received the Club's "Super Involved Rotarian" award. He devoted countless hours of service to Camp Allyn, a joint program of Stepping Stones and the Rotary Foundation of Cincinnati. Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30 at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith. Funeral service 10:00 a.m., Wednesday July 31 at the funeral home.
