Obituary
Edward J. Burns, devoted husband of the late Julia M. (nee Giesler) Burns. Loving father of Cathy (Stephen) Marsh, Nancy Burns & partner Judy Stowe. Grandfather of Jennifer (Tom) Michalski, and Pamela (Brad) Blanton. Great-grandfather of Madison, Olivia, and Julia Michalski, and Emma Blanton. Brother of Tom (Marian) Burns and the late Mary Burns. Also survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Died on August 29, 2010 at the age of 87. Visitation (tonight) Tuesday, August 31 from 5 PM to 7 PM and Wednesday, September 1 from 9:30 AM until Funeral Service at 10 AM at the Gilligan Funeral home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice, 11500 Northlake Drive, Suite 400, Cincinnati 45249-9705.
