Dorothy Koppenhaver (nee Best), beloved wife of the late Albert "Bud" Koppenhaver, devoted mother of Kitty Joy (Ray) Thompson and Karen L. (Gary) Steeves, loving grandmother of Craig and Eric Steeves, Debbie, Bryan and Randy Thompson, Robert K. and Marc J. Phelps and David and Kristina Meek. Great-grandmother of Tricia, Jonathon and April Phelps. Wednesday, July 2, 2003 (in North Carolina) at age 90. Visitation Tuesday, July 8 at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road at Galbraith from 10am until Funeral Service at 11am.
