Dorothy Gillen (nee Amberger), age 84 of Cincinnati, OH passed on February 24, 2022. Wife of loving husband, John B. Gillen M.D., for 60 years. Beloved mother of John (Patti), Mary, Vincent, and Patricia Gillen. Loving sister of Frank Amberger, Audrey Deutsch and Dee Cianciolo, and the late Virginia Thielking and Phillip Amberger. Loving "Grandma Dot" to Anne Gillen Mauk (Tyler), Katherine Gillen O'Connor (Shane), Sam, Lucy, and Graham Gillen. Dorothy was a graduate of Good Samaritan School of Nursing and worked there prior to her marriage. As a member of the Junior Co-operative Society, she enjoyed volunteering at Cincinnati Children's Hospital gift shop for many years. She was a long-time member of All Saints Church and was active in the nursing home ministry.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 5, at 10:30am at All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road. Services can also be viewed via livestream on www.allsaints.cc .
