Donald J. Sandman, beloved husband of Lillian Newman Sandman, devoted father of Donna (Greg Shuttleworth) Sandman and Patti Brown. Loving grandfather of Brian (Monica) Brown and Brad Brown. Great-grandfather of Kailey and Abby Brown. Dear uncle of Martin and Dan Sandman. Don was a 1935 graduate of Purcell High School and was in the insurance business for 60 years. December 21, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Visitation will be at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be 10 AM Wednesday at Nativity of Our Lord Church. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or to Nativity Church.
