Donald E. Pries passed away on August 20, 2024, in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 90. Born in Wabash, Indiana on October 11, 1933, Don is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marilyn (nee Bahler); five children from a previous marriage—Clyde Pries, Diana Working, Lyn Pries, Cheryl Barth, and Cindy Stockman; and four brothers-in-law—Wallace Bahler, Stanley Bahler, Nelson Bahler, and Alan Bahler.

Don spent his career working as a carpenter and construction worker on residential, commercial, and industrial projects in and around Kokomo, Indiana, many times as a foreman on those projects. He often shared his carpentry skills by helping friends with their "fix-it" projects, big and small.

He enjoyed, and was good at, playing softball and basketball into his fifties, and always liked to watch whatever sport was in season on TV. Don loved to play cards and spent many fun times with family and friends playing Euchre, Wizard, and many other card games.

He was a long-time member of the Main Street Methodist Church in Kokomo, Indiana and the Estero Methodist Church in Estero, Florida.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 23 at 2:00 PM with a Visitation preceding the service at 1:30. Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati OH 45236.
