Obituary
Donald J. Groene, beloved husband of Ruth Groene (nee. Meiners). Devoted father of Donn Groene (Alison) and Lynn "Missy" Schwallie. Loving grandfather of Monnica Kraft (Daniel). Dear brother of Betty Lou Linnemann. Donald served his country in the Navy during World War II and ran his own business, Paramount Confectionary. Departed on January 15, 2013 at the age of 86. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 19 from 9:00-9:45 am at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Rd. at Galbraith followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity Church, 2420 Drex Ave. Cinti 45212. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of one's choice.
