Donald Lee Glassmeyer

Donald Lee Glassmeyer “Pops”, 76, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Jewish Mercy Hospital in Kenwood. Born September 27, 1949, Donald proudly served his country as a Navy Vietnam veteran aboard the USS Waddell.

 He was a devoted family man who cherished the time he spent with the people he loved most. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda Glassmeyer; his daughter, Stephanie (Gary) Bolton; his two beloved grandchildren, Noah and Khloe Bolton; and his great nephew, William Jacob Wilson. He is also survived by his brothers Richard Jr., Michael (Susie), and sister Ann, and many other family members. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy; brother Gregory; and sisters, Carole and Barbara. 

Above all, Donald loved his family and friends. He also enjoyed golf, tinkering in his shed, taking care of his many fish aquariums, and working on computers. Nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his two grandchildren. The memories they made together will be treasured forever and will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by his family and friends. 

A visitation and service will be held on August 31st, 2026, from 11AM to 1:30PM at Gilligan Funeral Homes Kenwood (8225 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45236) with a military honors at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45249) directly after.
