Donald J. Behan, Age 93, passed away on March 3, 2017. He was born June 6, 1923 in Norwood, Ohio, the son of John and Minnie Behan. Don was a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy. He is survived by John and Mallory Behan, Cathy and Mark Feighery, Don and Susan Behan, Larry Behan, and Gary and Judy Behan, as well as six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II as a gunner in a patrol bombing squadron based in French Morocco. He later served in the Pacific theater. Services will be at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, 10-11 am Tuesday, March 7. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Honor Flight Dayton.
