David Curtis Bandy, 63, beloved son of the late Pete and Betty (nee Eichner) Bandy; beloved brother of Steve (Sheila McCarthy) Bandy; loving uncle of Patrick, Ryan, and Sean Bandy; devoted friend and loyal co-worker to many who hold him dear. Died suddenly in his home on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Dave was a graduate of The Ohio State University and employed by Modern Office Methods as a Senior Software Development Manager for 20 years. Dave was an avid exercise enthusiast, enjoyed working on home improvements, and was a world traveler with his favorite destination being Montana. Visitation will be held at 8:30 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2016 at St. Gertrude Parish Center, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gertrude Church, 6543 Miami Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45243. Memorials may be directed to Disabled American Veterans or St. Margaret Hall, 1960 Madison Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206. Dave and Steve's mother lived her final years at St. Margaret Hall and Dave visited her every day on his way home from work. He was well known by the staff and residents there.
