Christopher Alan Bailey passed away on January 13, 2025. He was born on June 16, 1964, to the late Jane and Frank Bailey, in Cincinnati, his lifelong home. Chris is survived by his wife, Julie of Cincinnati, son Alex of Cleveland, Ohio, daughter Kirsten of New York, NY, and sisters Karen and Mary, both of Cincinnati. Chris was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mike and Bill, and honorary brother Pat.

Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on January 20th at 10 a.m. at Gilligan Funeral Home, located at 8225 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45236. A short Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m.

Chris graduated from LaSalle High School before attending the University of Cincinnati, eventually settling into a career as an I.T. Consultant for various small businesses throughout Cincinnati.

Chris and Julie met at Caddy's bar in 1988, the start of a 36-year romance full of love and laughter. The two married on August 4, 1990, and welcomed their first child five years later.

Chris was an avid fan of Formula One and would often spend weekends parked in front of the television, watching everything from qualifying, to the final flag. Chris and his son Alex bonded over this affinity for cars, and often attended car shows throughout the Cincinnati area. Chris was always one of the largest fans of his daughter Kirsten's artwork, and his and Julie's shared home is decorated with her paintings throughout.
