Beloved mother, grandmother, cousin and friend died peacefully, holding her son's hand, after complications from an illness. She devoted her life to her family and two grandchildren. She was an eye-witness of the atrocities of the Holocaust, survived the Nazi occupation of Warsaw, the Warsaw Uprising, the terrors of communism, which included imprisonment of her late brother (Tadeusz), and crossed the ocean to live in the US on April 23, 1981. She became an American citizen on February 19, 1988. She worked as an accountant for several businesses in Poland and the USA. At the end of her career, she was recognized by the Ohio Governor George Voinovich for her work and dedication at Travelers' Aid International of Greater Cincinnati, an agency for immigrants. She also received the Official City Proclamation by the Mayor of Cincinnati, Roxanne Qualls (June 1, 1998) and numerous professional honors and awards (Silver Award at the Poznan International Fair and 20th Anniversary of Libella Award). She was a former volunteer for the Polish-American Society of Greater Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Arts Association (the Aronoff Center for the Arts). Preceded in death by her uncle Jan Kasprzycki (December 22, 1941, 20885, Auschwitz, Poland), father Marian Tadeusz Kasprzycki (November 11, 1970, Warsaw, Poland), mother, Irena Pelagia Kasprzycka (nee Michalczyk) (May 30, 1995, Cincinnati, Ohio), brother Tadeusz Wieslaw Kasprzycki (August 18, 1997, Vienna, Austria) and by her late husband Stanley Allen Duttenhofer (February 28, 2008, Cincinnati, Ohio). She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, cousins in Cincinnati, Ohio and Warsaw, Poland and other family in Toronto, Canada, Newcastle, WA, New York City, NY, Jersey City, NJ and many friends!
