Cecilia O'Connor Grever, 89, of Cincinnati, Ohio died on July 6, 2013. She is survived by her son Patrick O. (Carol) Grever of Eagle, Idaho, M. Kerry Grever of Cincinnati, Ohio, granddaughters Sarah Elizabeth Grever and Hannah Rose Grever of Eagle Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her late husband Gerald H. Grever, parents Mary Rose "Mayme" and Peter O'Connor, five brothers Joseph "Joe", John, Thomas "Tommy/Timmy", Paul and Lawrence "Laurie", and three sisters Mary Cozart, Margaret "Margie" McAvoy and Eileen Cook. Cecilia graduated from Withrow High School in 1942. During World War II she served as a WAVE in the U.S. Navy. In 1947 she married Gerry the love of her life and her husband for more than 60 years. Cecilia worked for several years as a secretary for Globe Wernicke Company. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her friends and family. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 11, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated @ St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 7754 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236 @ 10:00 AM on Friday. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
