C. Raymond Taylor passed away at the age of 75 in his hometown of Cincinnati.  He was preceded in death by his parents Clara and Clifford Taylor and his loving wife of 38 years Rita.

Ray was the loving father of his two daughters Jessica Kepple of Orlando, and Megan (William) Fahrendorf of Cincinnati, and the proud grandfather of his three grandchildren Willem Kepple and Lillian and Mia Fahrendorf.  Ray was his daughters' biggest champion regularly coaching their softball and soccer teams, and traveling for their swim meets.

Ray is also survived by his four brothers Christian (Mary Kay), Curtis (Sue), Clayton (Gwen) and Calvin (Marybeth), and his numerous friends from Our Lady of Sacred Heart, Moeller, University of Cincinnati, and IBEW 212.

Ray served in the Marines during the Vietnam conflict, and became an electrician after leaving the military.  When not spending time with his family, Ray enjoyed golfing with his brothers and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 19th from 5-7pm at Gilligan Funeral Home (8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236).  Burial will occur on Saturday, January 20th at 10am at Gate of Heaven Cemetery (11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45249).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Ray's name to the Rita N. Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund, University of Cincinnati Blue Ash, 9555 Plainfield Rd, Blue Ash OH 45236.
