Obituary
Betty Bassler (nee Sands), passed away July 15th after a short illness. She was born April 1, 1923 to the late Harry and Alma Sands. Survived by daughters Linda (Mike) Simpson and Penelope Bassler. Sister June Sands (Jim) Caughlin. Nieces Barbara Mitchell (Tom) Belding, Sue Mitchell (Steve) Faust, Sandra Sands Marshall and Nephews James and William Caughlin and Robert Mitchell. She was preceeded in death by husband Lahmont, sister Ruth Mitchell and brother Gilbert Sands. Visitation will be Monday July 20th from 6 to 8 PM at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery at Galbraith. Burial will be Tuesday July 21st at 9:00 AM at Hopewell Cemetery, Montgomery.
