Berna Mae Mayer (nee Schroeder), beloved wife of the late Cletus J. Mayer, devoted mother of James J. (Margaret) Mayer and Dr. Thomas M. (Lisa) Mayer, loving grandmother of Kimberly Pramaggiore, Christopher James Mayer, Susanne Mayer and Terri Thacker, dear great-grandmother of Kyle, Keane and Alec, dear sister of Rita Hodges, Emmett Schroeder and Donald Schroeder. Departed Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the age of 88. Friends may call at the Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery at Galbraith on Sunday from 4 to 6 PM. Mass of Christian 10 AM Monday at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 7754 Montgomery Road, Kenwood. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent Ferrer Church.
