Mrs. Barbara "Barb" Barry (ne Clatworthy) died peacefully, surrounded by her family and in the loving care of Hospice of Cincinnati-Blue Ash on February 10th, 2017 at the age of 74. Barbara is survived by her daughter Suzanne M. Barry of Charlotte, NC; sons Thomas (Kathi-jo) and Robert (Jennifer) of Cincinnati, OH and six grandchildren Charlie, Zoe and Lucy (Suzanne), Georgia and Tyler (Tom\Kathi-jo) and Teagan (Robert\Jennifer). She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas A Barry Jr (2007-Cincinnati, OH), parents William and Josephine Clatworthy and sister Suzanne M Clatworthy (1994, 1999, 1952 Queensbury, NY). Barbara was born on May 1st, 1942 in Glens Falls, NY to William and Josephine. She married Thomas, on April 16th, 1966. Barbara and Thomas moved to Passaic, NJ, where they welcomed the birth of their daughter Suzanne. They then moved to Villa Park, IL where they welcomed the birth of their sons Thomas and Robert, before settling in Symmes Township, OH in 1978. Barbara began working for Lazarus as a sales associate before moving to Macy's as a payroll & benefits representative in the early '90's. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was active in the Macy's annual United Way campaign. Visitation will be held at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236, on Thursday Feb 16th from 5-7pm.
