Barbara J. Alfaro December 26, 1940 ~ September. 25, 2017. Daughter of the late Hobert and Elizabeth Snead. Deeply loved and most cherished wife of Dr. Raul Daniel Alfaro ("Dan"). Beloved mother of Elizabeth Moore (Perry Moore), and Jani Viox (nee Malott)(Kevin Viox). Dear stepmother of Maria Fuller (Don Fuller), David Alfaro (Charlene), Ramey, Danny (Maria) Alfaro, and the late Mike Alfaro. Treasured grandmother of Lauren Bonaminio (Jimmy Bonaminio); Andrew Moore (Hillary Moore), Brian Moore, and Ashley Viox; Step Grandmother of Cristina and Elliot Fuller; Christopher, Josh, Rebecca, and Andrea Alfaro; Olivia; Mariateresa and Alex Alfaro. Great Grandmother of Julian Moore Also, Dan dictated the following that he would like to have added to the obituary 35 years spent at the Mercy Hospital at various capacities including secretary to the emergency room department, and volunteering with the orthopedic outpatient departments, including with doctors Duffy, Kremchek and others. In this capacity she related with the professional staff and gained their respect and admiration. After her retirement form Mercy she went to work in a part-time capacity with her daughter Jani at New Horizons Clinical Research where she was loved by all! Her capacity to make friendships was outstanding. Which granted her their admiration and respect. 15 years married to Dr Raul Daniel Alfaro and helped him to conduct various practices several areas of Cincinnati. Finally succumbed to a long illness to which she fought with courage. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
