IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annette M.
Shea
November 2, 1925 – February 3, 2024
Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Annette Shea (nee Massarella) died peacefully in her sleep on February 3, 2024. She was 98.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband Daniel R. Shea, and her siblings, Jack, Peggy and Joe. She is survived by children: Dan (Laurie), Peggy Leins (Bill), Frank, Lynn Elfers (Danny) and Molly Huster (Joe). She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. "She was affectionately known as "Nana" by family as well as by many family friends.
Annette was born in Cincinnati on November 2, 1925, and was a devoted daughter to Matt and Helen Massarella. She married in 1948 and, with her beloved husband, Dan, raised 5 children, mixing the perfect combination of love and discipline. She was a beloved employee of Mead Corporation Board Sales for 25 years, where she helped to pioneer computer payroll management.
Annette was many things during her long life, but most importantly she was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a devout Roman Catholic. We will all miss her.
