Anna Mae Snyder, 86 of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully at her home on March 28, with her Family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, former Miami Township Chief of Police Harry Lee Snyder, her six children, Barbara, Raymond, Mark, Brian, Michael, and Blaine, fifteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.Born in Hamilton County, Ohio, she spent her childhood growing up in Montgomery. She was a graduate of Sycamore High School, and the University of Cincinnati where she received a two-year degree in Education.After she married in 1956 she moved to Clermont County, Ohio to raise her family, moving to Lynchburg in 1995 where she enjoyed life in the country and working for the DealerTrack Company in Wilmington.A lifelong member and enthusiast of the Cincinnati Nature Center, she was also passionate about Theatre at the Aronoff, the Golden Era of Hollywood Film, and the music of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Merle Haggard and George Thorogood.
