Allison Christine Schroeder, 45, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 29, 2026, at UC West Chester Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born on December 16, 1980, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to Eric and Audrey (Scott) Butterfield. Allison graduated from Lakota East High School and earned her associate’s degree in massage therapy.
Allison was best known for her vibrant personality, her love of Halloween, and the joy she found in celebrating the holiday. She was a lover of animals of all shapes and sizes. She expressed her creativity in many artistic outlets such as painting, costume design, hat and purse making, and many more. She found happiness in the German communities around Cincinnati and in spending time with friends and family. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, loving spirit, and wild Halloween costumes. She was the kind of person who lit up any room she walked into. Above all else, Allison cherished her children and treasured every moment spent with her family.
Allison is survived by her beloved children, Mina and Gunnar Schroeder; her parents, Eric and Audrey Butterfield; her brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin and Ashley Butterfield; her aunts, Paula Butterfield and Rebecca Hamilton; and her nephew, Liam Butterfield.
