Allen Richard "Rick" Warther

Allen Richard Warther (Rick), 77, of Milford, Ohio passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. Born on October 21, 1948, Rick was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many.

Rick pursued his education at St. Saviour Elementary School, Moeller High School and the Ohio College of Applied Sciences. After working in construction and owning a type-setting business, he spent many years driving for Schneider Logistics, enjoying his travels across the United States and Canada. He was a loyal Cincinnati Reds fan, always rooting for them through their many ups and downs over the years. Rick cherished spending time with his beloved Boston Terriers and found joy in the company of his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Doreen Warther, his children Nikki Ruoss (Wade) and Peter Warther (Jennifer), his sister Maura (Sunny) Martin (Bill), nieces Maura Norden (Matt), and Julie Strickland (Steve), stepchildren Lauren Grosser, Jill Grosser Munch, Matt Grosser (Tricia), and Patrick Grosser (Kelly). Rick also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was predeceased by his parents Dick and Maura Warther and his nephew William (Chip) Martin.

A visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Parish, located at 8815 East Kemper Road in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday, March 23, 2026 beginning at 10:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 12:00 p.m. followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati in Rick's name. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
